Grace Utz

Associate Trainer

Grace and her dedicated boy Koko, love training together. Grace was having behavioural issues with her dog, which motivated her to register for professional training.  It lit a spark in Grace to delve deeply into dog training, dog sport and behaviour modification. She has been working with Kadence K9 for the past year and has proven herself to be a talented dog trainer, as well as having a calm, kind and effective approach with our human clients. With Graces’ leadership, Koko has transformed from an unruly pup, into an enthusiastic obedience dog, as well as an accomplished tracking dog. Taking this path with Koko has inspired Grace to open her own business, offering top quality dog walking and dog daycare services serving Smithers, Telkwa and area.  She can be found on Facebook at Grace Utz Dogwalking and Daycare. Grace is an asset to the Kadence K9 team and we look forward to our continuing  association!

Alivia Bos

Kennel Manager / Apprentice Dog Trainer

Alivia has recently joined the Kadence K9 team and we are thrilled to welcome her! Alivia relocated to Smithers this year, after residing in the Lower Mainland prior to her move to the beautiful Bulkley Valley. She has been employed in the professional dog boarding business for the past six years, advancing from kennel assistant to full time management of a successful 35 kennel boarding facility. This young lady is responsible, skilled and motivated! She is looking forward to providing exemplary service to both our human and canine customers, and becoming more involved in varied aspects of dog training and behaviour modification. She has a new partner to take this journey with, her sweet little boy Finn. They are going to make a great team, and we are excited to witness their progress. Alivia has a gentle, calm nature which dogs and their handlers are naturally drawn to. We feel very fortunate to have Alivia and Finn join us, and are confident they will play an integral role in the future success of Kadence K9.
